One of the complications of EVAR devices used to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms endovascularely is distal migration. Approximation of the iliac limbs of the device using a special clip applied during the EVAR implant procedure, or as a subsequent procedure, will help to prevent or halt distal device migration, which a cause of device failure.
