Introduction
We are developing a telemedicine infrastructure for collecting, recording and viewing medical data in hospitals. The system consists of a server, a ZigBee receiver, and a medical instrument equipped with a ZigBee radio frequency module. The widely covered ZigBee receiver collects data measured by medical devices, whether the patient is in the ward or walking around. The ZigBee receiver transmits data collected from medical devices via the Intranet and stores it on the server. The patient can be viewed and monitored remotely by medical personnel at any time.
Using ZigBee technology to transmit medical data, when a patient needs to move to another ward or other place for treatment, there is no need to remove the medical equipment in use so that medical personnel can monitor the patient's condition without interruption.
