Light intensity digitally controlled composite dental resin photoactuation equipment

Technology description

The proposed technique consists of a dental resin light activation device with an electronic light intensity controller, which enables it to control a series of light intensity change parameters during the polymerization process.

At present, composite resin is the most widely used material in direct dental restoration, mainly light-activated resin. The aesthetic effect of restoring teeth with composite resin is excellent. However, some mechanical behaviors of the resin during and after polymerization are not satisfactory, especially the high polymerization shrinkage.

The developed technology is composed of LED light activation equipment, which can realize the electronic control of light intensity in the light activation process of dental resin polymerization, so that users can obtain better polymerization results and recover accordingly, especially the significant reduction of shrinkage tension.
