This invention has potential as a medical device in order to have an even dispersion of blood and a reduced area of stagnant blood flow.
Invention is a blood oxygenator as an artificial lung or right ventricular assist device. It includes an integral pneumatic pump enclosed substantially within a housing unit. Inlet blood redirectors and outlet blood collectors are incorporated and together with the pneumatic pump, promote even perfusion of blood. This also eliminates areas of stagnation blood flow.
