Introduction

"Body Brush" combines art and computer video technology, and its creative ideas come from the world famous artist Jackson Pollock's "Action Painting" art. Users create real-time three-dimensional paintings on a virtual three-dimensional canvas with body movements. The virtual three-dimensional canvas in Body Brush consists of two infrared cameras and a set of infrared light sources to capture the artist's body movements. "Body Brush" technology has recently developed into "Intelligent Situational Therapy System" in combination with traditional art therapy, bringing new vistas to psychotherapy. The Intelligent Situational Therapy System uses virtual reality to interact with the physical actions of the subject, helping the subject to express their thoughts and feelings, thus allowing the therapist to enter their inner world and helping them face and overcome emotional trauma such as negative feelings or impaired self-esteem.
